Description
We like to raise our chickens on grass so they can consume bugs and get those rich, orange yolks that come from consuming a lot of keratin. We used to free range our chickens, but a losing battle with foxes has forced us to fence them. However, they have lots of grass, square feet and sunlight in their chicken run.
We charge $4/dozen for eggs, which are fed a non-GMO and hormone and antibiotic free ration. We have a customer seniority philosophy if our flock is reduced by predators. If we don’t have enough eggs to fulfill all orders, we cut back our newest customer first. However, we do everything we can to avoid this scenario.
